I have the original version
My Creel is 6 years old I believe and it is still holding up great. Lots of room for a water bottle and rain jacket in the back and plenty of pockets in the front pod/pouch for tippet, hemo's, 2 fly boxes, flotant, fishing license and has a fold down workspace shelf. It has done a great job of the years.
